The schooling landscape is evolving, and False Bay TVET College is for the forefront, recognizing that the traditional school product isn't the only effective means of studying. False Bay's Engineering NCV programmes are provided at two campuses: Westlake Campus and Khayelitsha Campus. These Engineering programmes are for a 3-yr length.

NCV Engineering Course Entry Prerequisites

These programs start off at NCV level 2 as well as the minimum need would then be Grade 9 certificate with a pass in Arithmetic.

The moment the student here finishes NCVLevel 2, they might then have attained a grade ten certificate. NCV Level 3 would be grade eleven and NCV Level four is grade twelve.

NCV Level four is at the exit level, being comparable to a National Senior Certificate (NSC).

Grade nine is on NQF level 1. Our NCV programmes start NCV stage 2 and that is equivalent to an NQF level 2.

On which kind of scholars are fitted to these programmes, they say that the world is acknowledging that standard education is not always the sole way of getting an artisan or turning out to be qualified so if a student knows from an early age what their pursuits are, the NCV programme is actually completely fitted to that student.

False Bay TVET College will assist the student to become qualified in his field of interest. Students who want to become entrepreneurs here will also have access to their Centre of Entrepreneurship on the Westlake Campus.
